Curry Leaf Gravy/Kulambu



Curry Leaf Gravy/Kulambu

 
Ingredients
  • Curry leaves- 1 cup
  • Dhoor dhal- 1 tsp
  • Red chilli- 6
  • Coriander seed- 1 tsp
  • Pepper- 1 tsp
  • Tamarind- lemon sized
  • Tumeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • To temper:
  • Mustard- 1tsp
  • Urad dhal- 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek- 1 tsp
  • Gingelly oil- 3 tsp

Instructions
  1. In a pan put oil add dhoor dhal, red chilli, coriander leaves, pepper and saute it
  2. Add curry leaf and saute it
  3. Allow it to cool and grind it
  4. In a kadai, put tamarind juice and the grinded mixture, add water. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes
  5. In a kadai put oil, mustard when it splutters add urad dhal, fenugreek. Pour this over the kuzhambu
  6. Healthy curry leaves kuzhambu is ready to serve
