Curry Leaf Gravy/Kulambu
Ingredients
- Curry leaves- 1 cup
- Dhoor dhal- 1 tsp
- Red chilli- 6
- Coriander seed- 1 tsp
- Pepper- 1 tsp
- Tamarind- lemon sized
- Tumeric powder- ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- To temper:
- Mustard- 1tsp
- Urad dhal- 1 tsp
- Fenugreek- 1 tsp
- Gingelly oil- 3 tsp
Instructions
- In a pan put oil add dhoor dhal, red chilli, coriander leaves, pepper and saute it
- Add curry leaf and saute it
- Allow it to cool and grind it
- In a kadai, put tamarind juice and the grinded mixture, add water. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes
- In a kadai put oil, mustard when it splutters add urad dhal, fenugreek. Pour this over the kuzhambu
- Healthy curry leaves kuzhambu is ready to serve
